Founded in 2006 by Richard Phillips, Cash Connect was established to supply retailers with specialist solutions that automate cash handling, give an instant guarantee, remove risk from retailers and ensure fast cash settlements.
A comprehensive understanding of retail cash management, and the realities of criminal activities, inspired Cash Connect to pioneer Cash Vaults based on the principle of Deter, Deflect and Defend. These hardened, SABS CAT4 security vaults have resulted in our clients being 40 times less likely to fall victim of attack. Our clients have access to their real-time information and financial reporting via our custom developed software.
In July 2013 Cash Connect was acquired by a consortium comprising Old Mutual's specialist investment fund, Futuregrowth Asset Management together with Ivan Epstein, founder of Softline and Steven Heilbron, formerly of Investec.
